Monday being the most important day of the week is pretty cliché. It’s a “ Ra Ra, Hustle and go get it” kind of day in mainstream media and rightfully so. Monday is like the pinball being fully compressed on the launcher ready to explode. It’s the start of something new possibly a new version of yourself. My favorite day of the week is Monday, a day that most of the people I know dread. It’s the only day of the week where you have everything too look forward to good and bad. Once again, Im not a motivational speaker trying to get you hyped because the hype you get after reading my posts are just ephemeral. You may let this sink in and tackle some work, or you could laugh at my horrible writing skills or attempt in documenting the hustle. Now that we got over my opinions about this important day, I want to touch upon my thoughts of life.
“Whatever there be of progress in life comes not through adaptation but through daring”
Life is all about progress and daring to me. The way I look at it, Im a small needle at one end of the spectrum and my goal and vision is at the opposite end. Everything I do from this moment forward moves my needle forward in small increments, stagnates, or moves my needle back. Before I do anything, I always ask myself, is this action going to move my needle forward? Sometimes, its okay to not go forward and stagnate and enjoy yourself. Sometimes its also okay to move the needle back a little bit. Whenever I do something that takes me back I don’t dread over it too much because dreading keeps your needle stagnant. When you fall back think to yourself you took a step back only to ground you to leap forward. Do things that bring your needle closer to your goal and it’s a patience game. You’ll stagnate from time to time like this past month where I didn’t post anything. You’ll even fall back, but when you do leap forward and always remember it aint easy Hustlin’.
