I’m back! It’s the start of the new semester and a fresh new start to ainteasyhustlin. I’m going to try to knock out as much content as possible and most of the content is primarily going to be documentation. The summer vacation from college has given me new insight into the world of hustling. Some things that I have learned are as follows.
Shut up: Don’t tell people what your going to do, don’t tell people what you hope to do, and interestingly don’t have passion. Passion is you telling those around you how your going to achieve greatness in what ever it is you aspire. The more you talk about what you will do, the less you are doing in the moment. Odds are, if your telling your peers and those around you about the company your going to start and how great it’s going to be, there probably wont be any company. Focus on getting things done and being productive, talk after you’re done.
Meditation: Meditation is a great practice and I recommend everyone partake in it daily. 10 minutes of meditation a day and you will feel the effects soon. I follow mantra meditation where I choose a specific word and keep focusing on that word and pronouncing that word for 10 minutes. I feel clearer and my focus has increased due to the practice of meditation.
Ego: Let go of your ego, I’m going to save Ego for another article however, in the mean time I recommend you guys read EGO IS THE ENEMY by Ryan Holiday. The book has great insight and its also a quick read.
Stay strong, stay hustling
