MVP is super important. We all start procrastinating, thinking what we have in the moment isn't perfect or good enough to be released. Because of these thoughts we delay action and execution and just don't get much done. Getting a minimum viable product is super important because if you don’t get one out your either procrastinating or... YOUR PROCRASTINATING. I’m experiencing this currently while creating business cards for my consulting agency. I created a business card design over a week ago and still haven’t clicked submit and purchased the order. I’m stalling because I’m afraid that my design isn’t perfect, I’m thinking about the color schemes for selling and just overthinking the entire process. What I should have done over a week ago is realize that the best results I have gotten from life is when I just acted and got something out no matter how good or bad the product was. For example, ainteasyhustlin.com looked like shit when I first started. It was basically a plain white page with no pictures and writing all disorganized. First-Tech Marketing is still a MVP, I created the site over a week ago and from my experiences building ainteasyhustlin.com, I feel like I did a much better job at the start of First-Tech. I don’t have much experiences with business cards and graphic design but I should know that just starting and getting something out is going to improve my skills by so much because if my design and card doesn’t work out, I'll learn from it and create better ones in the future.
For those of us procrastinating with ideas, just forget about what you think, forget what others think, and just release what you got. You’ll thank yourself later, I can co-sign on that!
